OUR TEAM 

NOAH PERCY

    Noah is a Junior at Columbia College studying History and Francophone studies. His writing and research have focused on the fabrication and regulation of sexual and gender norms in modern France, England, and the US. A member of Columbia's Meet Me at the Museum, he leads public school tours at the MET. Unfortunately, he has Greenbergian sympathies and is into Frankenthaler at the moment, making MoMA his favorite New York Museum.

    Yasemin is a Senior at Barnard College studying Art History and History. She accredits her interest in art history to a childhood in Istanbul,  surrounded by a pastiche of past and present. Her interests center on material culture, having researched the Parisian interiors of La Belle Époque and 18th-century Turquerie. Her favorite New York Museums is the MET.

SAM NEEDLEMAN

    Sam is a junior at Columbia College studying History and Hispanic Studies. He is interested in histories and theories of cities and buildings, especially in the U.S. and Latin America. At the journal, Sam focuses on architectural history. His favorite art museums are MoMA, the Cooper Hewitt, and the Brooklyn.

SOPHIA FUNG

EDITOR

    Sophia is a Junior at Barnard College studying Art History and Dance. She has worked at the Long Museum in Shanghai, at Christie's Hong Kong, and also have a forthcoming internship at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. Her interests center on the intersectionality of dance, the performing arts, and the visual arts in the 1960s.

Sophia Fung

BRIE SCHMIDT

    Brie Schmidt is a Junior at Barnard College, studying Psychology and Art History. Widely, Brie is interested in Impressionist and Postimpressionist art, but she enjoys learning about nearly any period. During the summer of 2019, she participated in a Columbia study abroad program in Venice, where she explored art of the Italian Renaissance as well as contemporary works being shown at that year’s Biennale. She is also the leader of the Events Team for Ratrock Magazine, an undergraduate arts magazine on campus.
